Lizbeth, a freelance writer, blogger, and independent filmmaker, graduated from Rutgers College and studied film at New York University. Based in New Jersey, Liz worked as a Script Supervisor on A Better Place, Vulgar, and Big Helium Dog (all independent feature films produced by Kevin Smith’s View Askew Productions). For several years, Liz acted as the Co-Coordinator for AIVF’s NJ Filmmakers Salon, and became a founding member of Exit 131 Films, a filmmaking co-op.
She has written several original television pilots, including: Breeding Ground (a sitcom about motherhood); Shooting Stars (an half-hour comedy about a pop star and the paparazzi); Ultimate Pioneer (a sci-fi drama about a reality show in space); and Cayce Place (a drama about teen psychics). Liz wrote the Communication Episode for Discovery TV's Emmy-winning series Greatest Inventions with Bill Nye and wrote and directed the short film, The First Date After. She is also collaborating on several narrative and documentary projects.
