After several years in the corporate world, Sandra launched her career as a documentary filmmaker. Sandra's 2004 directorial debut, What’s So Funny? screened at numerous film festivals domestically and abroad, winning Best Feature Documentary at The Golden Film Festival in Colorado and an Award of Excellence at the Berkley Film & Video Festival in California.
Sandy's second film, Snake Hill, premiered at the 2007 Palm Beach International Film Festival and, to date, has garnered both the Best Feature Documentary and The Jersey Fresh Awards at the Red Bank International Film Festival. Currently, she is in post production on The BlueBelles, a feature documentary about elderly female friendships.
Sandy is also collaborating on several narrative film and television scripts. Believing that “everyone has an interesting story to tell,” Sandra is developing an online radio program called Good to Hear, with the hopes of interviewing as many interesting and inspiring people as she can.
